These guests often include K-Pop idols, who take a trip to sort of escape the busy city and a much-needed break to relax and breathe the fresh air. During their stay on the island, many have shared amazing contents of their experience there. By getting to see the island through the eyes of their favorite idols, some might say these wholesome contents have contributed to the increase of interest in the Island. Here are some of the K-Pop idols who have shared vlogs from the island in at least the last 3 years and made us want to spend our next vacation there.
1. WonHo
WonHo’s vlogs are some of the most interesting idol content shared on YouTube. Chill and always entertaining, he captures and shares moments that not just excite fans but further foster their connection with him. He has a whole vlog series of his trip to Jeju that features stops at beautiful sceneries, an adorable solo dance break, cafe hopping, a fun time with cats and dogs, delicious meals, painting, and a visit to an art exhibition, and so much more. Taking a much-needed break after his busy schedule, this relaxation trip sure did look relaxing as you could clearly see how happy he was to be by the seaside with his family.
2. ITZY
One of the most common things about visiting Jeju is eating delicious seafood and in this vlog, ITZY’s Yeji did that and so much more. Watering our senses with the delicious platters of food shared, she also took viewers on her shopping spree, getting adorable little things for herself and other members like a cup for crackers, a cute keyring, hairpins, etc. She also showed viewers some of the breathtaking views and landscape of the island. Traveling alone has been one of the things on her bucket list and with this vlog, she clearly had so much fun in the chill and relaxing environment. Well, except for the times when it looked like she was almost blown away by the wind. For ChaeRyeong, this trip was all about finding adorable cafes in Jeju, one that serves good teas with great nutritional values. Her first stop was to a green tea farm that evoked so many “wow” reactions than we could count. Enjoying the refreshing breeze while jumping around in the fields, this wholesome vlog showed one of the healing spots and activities in Jeju. Closing off with a delicious homemade meal, through her lenses, we get to see how much goodness the Island has to offer. ITZY’s RyuJin was all about the tangerines and their refreshing taste. Looking cute and bright like a tangerine, she takes us along as she picks the fruits while dropping a couple of useful tips for viewers who would also love to do the same. ITZY Lia’s vlog was the definition of chill and relaxing. She entertained viewers with her refreshing and warm charms and participated in various activities, from taking a stroll around the beautiful oceanside view of the island to a trip to the cafe shop and vintage store where she shopped for an LP record and clothing. This vlog was definitely delightful to watch. In this vlog, ITZY’s YuNa showed off her creative and artistic skills as she painted a beautiful canvas of the breathtaking Jeju ocean view and ended the vlog with a delicious meal at a restaurant and a stroll around the island. It seems every member of ITZY had a particular reason for going to Jeju, and they all clearly enjoyed their stay on the island.
3. VIXX’s Ravi
In this vlog, Ravi shares his scenes from his trip to Jeju as he was scheduled to perform at the Someday Festival. His first stop is at a restaurant where his slurping noises and the glow on his face showed off how much he enjoyed the food there. Followed up by the amazing views of the blue sea and a chaotic pool time that saw him hilariously fail numerous times to climb a floaty, this vlog must have been a work trip but it looked like a very fun and calming one. Ravi was also one of the many celebrities that added the Burberry pop-up event in Jeju that led to a viral moment in Korea last year. His vlog highlights his preparation for the event amidst eating good food and spending quality time with his friends. One charming thing about this vlog is that he revisits the restaurant from his earlier trip and once again, the expression on his face was simply adorable and made it seem like he had a worthwhile experience.
4. A.C.E’s Kim ByeongKwan and Chan
In collaboration with Its from Jeju, A.C.E’s members Byeongkwan and Chan took a trip to the beautiful island. Chan who is originally from Jeju got to show ByeongKwan and viewers some of the coolest spots on the Island. From eating delicious meals, shopping at the seaside market, and a beautiful sunset, the idols showed off the beauty of the island in this vlog, making viewers want to book their next vacation there.
5. Girl’s Day’s HyeRi
Girl’s Day HyeRi’s smile at the opening of the video was our reaction (and we are sure fans’ too) throughout the video. Starting off a bit chaotic as she gets lost and tries to find her car. A stop at the cafe to read a new script where she made a new dog friend, a spectacular view of the sunset, a delicious bowl of pasta, and a trip to the shooting range, every activity she did in this vlog was fun and entertaining to watch.
6. MONSTA X’s KiHyun
A budding photographer, in this vlog, MONSTA X’s KiHyun decided to spend his last day in Jeju by taking pictures of nature. The idol is clearly good at taking pictures as some of the pictures he gave viewers a peek of, looked so pretty and nice. On the car ride, he expressively gushes about the beauty of Jeju Island, from its nature to regulations, making us wonder if he might be considering living there someday. After making a quick stop at a restaurant with a view of the ocean and devouring a delicious plater of food, he takes a walk and completes his mission of taking amazing pictures of nature.
7. ENHYPEN’s JungWon
ENHYPEN JungWon gave off a warm and comforting aura throughout this vlog, quite similar to the feeling that Jeju gives its visitors. This family trip served as an wholesome and healing content for many of his fans who got to see him spend a relaxing time with his family, filled with good food, a submarine ride, and a trip to the botanical gardens.
8. Kwon EunBi
This vlog might be filled with so many random moments but it was still entertaining to watch. Her clumsy nature is clearly part of her delightful charms as you can’t help but smile throughout the duration of the video.
9. (G)I-DLE’s MiYeon and Yuqi
Started off with very bright and chaotic energy and this positive energy was carried on throughout the vlog. Even though they weren’t able to climb Mount Halla as they wanted, they still had a lot of fun engaging in a lot of activities from a trip to the museum, an arcade ride, taking cute pictures by the ocean, eating good food, and a walk in the tangerine fields.
10. YuJu
The idol took on a ride in the cutest little car as she toured around Jeju. Showing off the beautiful sceneries the island has to offer, its amazing eateries, and the hottest tourist spots, the vlog served as a guide for many who will be interested in visiting the island.
