In other words, one of the female K-Pop idols or Korean actresses that fans wish was their best friend or girlfriend. Readers voted for Suzy in our weekly poll (at the end of the article) to be featured this week. Let’s get to know our girl crush, Suzy! Suzy is famous as an iconic Hallyu star. She is a former member of the girl group Miss A and is currently active as a soloist and actress. You may have seen her in the popular K-Dramas “While You Were Sleeping”, “Vagabond”, and “Start-Up” to name a few. Suzy recently released a single called ‘Satellite’ after a 4-year musical hiatus. Many fans were excited about the release as Suzy is known for her stunning vocal tone.
The song once again proved Suzy’s versatility as an artist. It showed us a dreamy and wistful side to Suzy with a distorted but delightful sound. Not to mention that Suzy is known as a CF queen because she gets so many love calls to appear in ads and does do many gigs as a model for many brands. Suzy is affectionately known as ’the nation’s first love’ in Korea because of her lovely girl-next-door persona. This literally cements her position as an ultimate girl crush. However, Suzy has said in many interviews that her nickname is not all that there is to her. She always tries her best to show her ability to play diverse roles, be a versatile artist, and show her duality as a person. Suzy is also incredibly down-to-earth and shows her true self to fans.
