Known for playing some of the most beloved K-Drama characters of all time, Kim JiWon is one of the greatest actresses of this generation. With her versatility and range, her duality comes as no surprise. Kim JiWon is currently appearing in the JTBC slice-of-life drama “My Liberation Notes”, available for streaming worldwide on Netflix. The actress plays Yeom MiJeong, the youngest of three siblings living in Sanpo Village and working in Seoul.
MiJeong is deeply introverted and reticent but has a suppressed zeal for life the way it should be rather than how it is.
Kim JiWon says little but expresses the world with her eyes. Her quiet elegance is truly a treat for viewers of “My Liberation Notes”, especially for fans who can identify themselves with her character.
On the other hand, one of Kim JiWon’s most popular characters, Choi AeRa in “Fight For My Way” is diametrically opposed to Yeom MiJeong. She is loud, bubbly, straightforward, fearless, and bold.
Kim JiWon’s ability to play such contrasting characters effortlessly is truly worth high praise and speaks volumes of her talent and duality.
