1. DAY6
Managed by JYP Entertainment, DAY6 is one of the most renowned rock bands in Korea. DAY6’s fandom name is “My Day”, which means that DAY6 and fans become a precious existence and fill each other’s every day. The group name DAY6 implies that Monday to Friday is the time for the group members, Saturday is the day with My Day, and Sunday is the day for the group members to rest. After the change of members, the current members include Lee SeungHyub (J.Don), Cha Hun, Kim JaeHyun, Yoo HweSeung, and Seo DongSeong. The fandom name “N.Fia” is a combination of “N.Flying” and the English word “Utopia”. The group also has a mascot named N.Fie. The name “Five Treasure Island” refers to the five members of the band: vocalist Lee HongGi, former guitarist and leader Choi JongHoon, bassist Lee JaeJin, former guitarist Song SeungHyun, and drummer Choi MinHwan. Before ONEWE debuted under their current name under RBW Entertainment in 2019, they were formed in 2015 as M.A.S 0094 (Make a Sound 0094) under Modern Music. Later on, the group name has changed to “ONEWE” that composes of WE, which connotes “We Shine On You”, and ONE, which implies “integration”, meaning “We (ONEWE) will light up the world and become truly one”. ONEWE consists of 5 members: YongHoon as the leader and main vocalist, HaRin as the drummer, KangHyun as the guitarist, DongMyeong as the keyboardist and vocalist, and CyA as the bassist and rapper. 6. Xdinary Heroes
The rookies Xdinary Heroes have just made their debut last December. However, they have immediately gained special attention from their debut music video. The band is a six-piece male band from Studio J, a division of JYP Entertainment. The group name is an abbreviation of “Extraordinary Heroes”, which indicates “WE ARE ALL HEROES”, meaning anyone can become a hero. Each member has their specialization of musical instruments; GunIl on jazz drums, JungSu on keyboards, GaOn and JunHan on electric guitars, O.de on synthesizers, and JooYeon on electric bass. 7. The Rose
The name of the group The Rose symbolizes the beauty of the group’s music like a rose flower, while at the same time having a strong style like the needles on the stem of the rose. Since roses come in a variety of colors, it also signifies the group’s desire to bring a variety of music to their fans. The group is a 4-piece band consisting of Kim WooSung (vocalist, guitarist), Park DoJoon (keyboardist), Lee HaJoon (drummer), and Lee JaeHyeong (bassist). They were affiliated with the J&Star label and debuted in 2017. The fandom of the group is “Black Rose”. 8. Hyukoh
The famous indie band Hyukoh is debuted in 2014 and signed to the DooRooDooRoo Artist Company. The four members of the group are vocalist and guitarist Oh Hyuk, guitarist Lim HyunJae, bassist Im DongGeon, and drummer Lee InWoo. The name of the group is derived from the name of lead singer Oh Hyuk, pronounced backward. The mismatch of their age and appearance, their reticent personalities, and the fact that they are difficult to interview have become the hallmarks of Hyukoh and have added a lot of fascination and mystery to the band.
