Like most K-Dramas, “Shting Stars” has its fair share of romance. These moments will make you breathless, squeal in excitement, and feel numerous butterflies in your stomach. So without further ado, let’s take a look at these heart-fluttering moments of the hit drama, “Shting Stars”! Note: This article contains spoilers.
1. Gong TaeSeong and Oh HanByeol Reunite
The scene starts with Oh HanByeol entering Starforce Entertainment’s coffee room. There, she comforts new hire Hong BoIn (Kwon HanSol) and afterward, returns to making a cup of coffee. Little does she know but she is in for a shocking surprise! As she turns around, she comes face to face with Gong TaeSeong.
The scene doesn’t end there, as TaeSeong leans in and gets unbelievably close to HanByeol in order to whisper something into her ear. The writers sure know how to get our hearts racing—and in the first episode, too!
2. Park HoYoung Finds Kang SiDeok
It all starts off when Park HoYoung (Kim YoonHye) takes a work trip outside the city in order to find the “next Gong TaeSeong”. Unfortunately, there are no standout prospects at the actor audition she attends. But not all hope is lost! As she is walking down a random street, she comes across a rice soup shop with heartthrob worker, Kang SiDeok (N.Flying’s Lee SeungHyub). The small restaurant is swarmed with girls and women of all ages, fangirling over hardworking SiDeok. With a visual and charisma like that, how can you not stop and marvel at his good looks?
3. TaeSeong Sleep Talking
At this point, we’re already well-acquainted with HanByeol and TaeSeong’s relationship and the way they bicker and fight like siblings. It might seem childish and immature, but that’s what makes their relationship special and fun to watch. Then there’s moments like this, where TaeSeong catches HanByeol by surprise, sleepily muttering the lines “Stay with me. Don’t go somewhere else.” Even barely awake, TaeSeong is able to make anyone melt with his sweet ments.
4. TaeSeong and HanByeol’s Kiss Scene
Once TaeSeong realizes that he actually likes HanByeol, he makes multiple attempts to make his feelings known—but to no avail. It’s not until he receives a late night visit from her that TaeSeong finally confesses. Both acknowledge their hidden feelings and eventually lean in for a steamy kiss. Not sure what’s hotter, this kiss scene or the upcoming summer heat.
5. HoYoung Confesses to YuSeong
If you’ve been following along, you’ll know that HoYoung’s long-lasting crush towards her senior, Kang YooSeong (Yoon JongHoon), has intensified over the last few episodes. After what seems like a million head pats later, HoYoung finally gathers up the courage to confidently confess her feelings. This leaves both of them in shock, but gives fans and viewers another potential couple to root for.
